Flour and Apron cafe-bakery

October 2021

In the summer of 2021 Flour and Apron, an authentic cafe-bakery, was opened in Yoshkar-Ola. Branding for the project was developed by the LINII team.

This is a cozy place with breakfasts, lunches, good coffee and at the same time a store with a large selection of sourdough bread, pastries, cakes and puff pastries.

The basis of the creative concept was childhood memories associated with bread: the aroma and taste of a fresh loaf eaten on the way home, or the smell of grandma’s pies in the village. "This is the history of our culture, like an endless book with many chapters and stories," explains Mikhail Gubergrits, CEO and Creative Director of LINII.

Based on this idea, we developed a logo and corporate identity. The visual system of the cafe contains elements of book culture — pages, footers, paragraphs.

The theme of nature, conciseness and eternal values is also supported in the cafe interior, which was developed by designers from Studio Shoo by Shushana Khachatryan.
