The name and brand identity for the Deafblind Support Fund

The Deafblind Support Fund was established in April 2014 at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Strategic Initiatives Agency, chaired by the President Vladimir Putin. The Fund's Board of Trustees includes German Gref, Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, prominent business people and cultural figures. Our agency developed a name and an identity for the new Fund, which helps deafblind people find the opportunity for personal fulfilment, development and adaptation in society.

The Fund sets rather complex and ambitious goals for itself – to achieve institutional changes in the field of support and social integration of people with hearing and visual impairment.

The Foundation acts as a link between the world of ordinary people and the traumatic world of deafblind people. Therefore, the idea of ​​a guide was the basis for the brand positioning, and the newly formed Fund was named “Con-nection” (“soedinenie” in Russian).

The concept of corporate identity is based on a contrast of bright blue and orange colors, combining order and chaos, points and lines. The name and visual idea reflect the mission of the Fund – to become a «guide between the two worlds», to develop and combine successful solutions and practices for integration of deafblind people into society.
